Learn how survey availability and competition change throughout the week, including tips on maximizing your survey income over the weekend.
If you’ve ever logged into Earn Haus on a Saturday or Sunday and noticed it takes an extra try or two to find a survey that matches—you're not alone. While you can still participate and get rewarded over the weekend, things may move a little slower than they do on a typical weekday. Here's why.
Survey Sponsors Take Breaks Too
Most of the surveys offered through Earn Haus are created and managed by third-party research firms and corporate sponsors. These are typically organizations that operate on a standard business schedule—Monday through Friday. When the work week ends, some teams may choose to pause data collection or hold off on launching new surveys until they're back at their desks and can more closely monitor things.
That means there could be fewer live surveys to match with over the weekend, especially ones that are part of time-sensitive studies or need close monitoring. You can always still find some opportunities (especially evergreen or automated ones), but they can be less frequent.
Holiday Weekends = Even Quieter
The same pattern applies to major holidays. If a company is closed for a long weekend, they’re probably not reviewing survey data or troubleshooting technical issues during that time either. As a result, they may pause active surveys to ensure everything runs smoothly once their teams are available again.
So if you're wondering why the pace feels slower during Memorial Day, Labor Day, or the days around Christmas—this is likely the reason.
What You Can Do
Even if survey availability dips, you can still make the most of your time on Earn Haus:
- Refresh the feed periodically. Survey availability can fluctuate throughout the day—even on weekends. What’s unavailable now might open up again in an hour.
- Try different survey types. Evaluation Surveys are still live, even if traditional surveys are paused.
- Keep your profile up to date. A complete and accurate profile increases your chances of getting matched quickly when surveys are available.
- Be patient with extra clicks. If it takes two or three attempts to find a live survey, that’s normal—especially on weekends. As always, if you're disqualified after spending a lot of time in a survey, please notify our support team so we can take action where necessary.
Still Worth Showing Up
We definitely don’t recommend skipping the weekends entirely. Plenty of members still complete surveys and cash out every weekend—it just helps to know what’s happening behind the scenes so you can manage your expectations and make the most of what’s available.
At Earn Haus, we’re always working to increase the variety of opportunities available 7 days a week. In the meantime, we appreciate your flexibility—and your participation.
